Description

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 64 x 66 mm, one four-line musical stave ruled in red ink and one line of fragmentary text on reverse.

CONTENTS: On reverse, fragmentary text: […]nes[…]; the initial would have introduced the antiphon at First Vespers for Pentecost, Dum complerentur, or the responsory to the first lesson at Matins, also Dum complerentur.

DECORATION: Historiated initial in shell pink on a gold ground: [D] Group of men looking upwards, probably Pentecost.
