Valentine card
Embossed and silvered paper of entwining leaves and flowers, incorporating a scene with a church at upper centre and a Cupid at lower centre. A central aperture has a gauze blind onto which is mounted hand-coloured and embossed paper figures of a man and woman, cut-paper and hand-coloured foliage and a pair of doves at upper centre. A small, paper lozenge affixed at lower centre is printed with the verse: 'Oh let me love / And loving you / I will be constant / Kind and true'. The front-paper is pasted to the back-paper.
