Description

A valentine of an embossed back-paper with scalloped edges onto which is mounted white and gilt lace-paper (probably originally on paper springs although these now stuck down) with purple paper backing to the small apertures. A chromolithgraphed flower garland (again on paper springs now stuck down) and with a central silk panel with woven verse entitled: 'EVER / FAITHFUL'. The silk panel has a gilt lace-paper border and is mounted on two long paper springs for 'raising'.
