Description

Oval-shaped silver lace-paper frame with purple hand colouring mounted on lace-paper with paper springs. At the centre of the frame affixed against a panel of rice paper (torn in places) is a chromolithographed scrap of a couple wearing 18th-century dress standing on a cut-out of flowers bearing the motto: 'Innocence, true worth'. A collage of green net leaves, tinsel foliage and fabric flowers attached to the frame below.
