Valentine card

Ornate silver lace-paper frame with a design of putti entwined in foliage. The frame is mounted on paper springs to a lace-paper backing. A collage of fabric lily-of-the-valley leaves and flowers and a lithographed bird cut-out are arranged inside a teardrop window at the centre. Lithographed cut-outs of flowers affixed at upper and lower centre, the latter bearing the motto: 'Affection and Truth'.
