Description

Comic Valentine. Cream wove paper with a hand-coloured lace-paper border in blue, pink and green. An ornamental pair of belows, made from wood and paper and varnished, affixed to the centre of the paper. A printed verse (as handwritten script) on a scroll below: "I dislike as a general rule / windy things, so acquit me of blame / If I send (as your passion's so cool) / What if used may enliven the / flame."
