Description

12mo-size white lace-paper (same front sheet design as P.14411-R-5) with pink gauze blind decorated with a collage of lace-paper birds and hand-coloured and cut-paper flowers with lithographed scroll bearing a motto (as handwritten) in blue ink at lower centre: Affection's Tribute. On the inside right-hand page and viewed through the gauze blind is a hand-painted design of flower garlands with hand-written message: "Constant and true to thee / my comfort and joy". Inscription in graphite on inside page at upper right: "3/6" [3 shillings and sixpence]. Inscription in graphite on the album leaf: 12/6. This is probably a mis-transcription of the price from inside page.
