Description

12mo-size white lace-paper with silvered embossed paper 'grotto' mounted on paper springs and collage of fabric glittered leaves and silvered twigs with cut-paper flowers at lower centre. A gilt-framed medallion with hand-written verse at upper centre: "Constant and / true / In Affection to / you". A gauze blind at the centre covers a collage of hand-coloured lithographed cut-paper trees and foliage around a real mirror lake with boat and a framed motto: "?Affection". MANSELL embossed at lower left.
