Valentine card
Publisher: Dobbs, Henry
32mo-size white lace-paper used in landscape orientation mounted with a collage of a pink lace-paper roundel, embossed chromolithographed flower scraps and hand-painted leaves. The motto: "Remember Me." is hand-written in calligraphic letters with the "R" a cut-paper letter with gilt edge affixed to the roundel. The collage lifts up to reveal a hand-written message (presumably from the sender) in blue ink: "I love you / dearly". DOBBS & CO embossed at centre left.
