Valentine card

4to-size white lace-paper with central rectangular window covered with a brown gauze blind and border of red gauze with a scalloped, embroidered lace edge. The border is decorated with identical collages at all four corners of pink gauze flowers with silver cut-paper centres and silver cut-paper fern fronds. The brown gauze blind is mounted with a collage of white lace-paper backed with white silk and cut-paper, hand-coloured flowers and fabric leaves with two lithographed and hand-coloured putti on a silk cloud. The back paper is missing and the lace-paper front sheet mounted directly onto the album leaf.
