Description

A 'raised' valentine with a silver-lace-paper frame mounted on paper springs to plain lace-paper and decorated with a circular collage of pink silk leaves and flower scraps. An oval-shaped frame of silver lace-paper with edging of cotton lace and central flower scrap mounted on a white silk panel on a larger blind of white gauze. A printed motto in pink ink within a gilded lozenge is affixed at lower centre: 'My heart's delight'. The front sheet is adhered to the back sheet.
