Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
Silver lace-paper mounted with a collage of white satin leaves around a central oval window with a hand-painted white silk blind. A printed motto affixed at lower centre: 'Love'. The inside pages are blank. A circular-shaped remnant of glue on the leaf collage at lower centre inidicates a missing component, possibly a pearl or jewel. The thin layer of silver on the lace-paper is tarnished, creating a rainbow effect. From the same series as P.14413-R-19, which has a different hand-painted flower on the silk blind and a different motto.
