Valentine card

Small 48mo valentine of embossed white paper with shaped, blue printed edges and top layer of white and gilt lace-paper mounted on paper springs (the one at lower centre missing) with central circular window and flower scap with motto: 'EVER THINE' at lower centre. A cut-paper chromolithograph of young girls playing with a toy boat mounted at the centre of the embossed lower layer. A hand-written inscription on the verso is visible on the inside right-hand page: 'To dear Daisy / From Collin'. Similar inscriptions visible on the verso of nos. 63 and 65, suggesting that these three were from the same sender.
