Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
Embossed white wove paper with shaped edges tinted dark blue with a top layer of silver lace-paper with oval window mounted on paper springs. Dark green satin ribbon is inserted into each corner of the lace-paper and scraps of flowers with motto 'HOPE' at upper centre and a winged putti carrying a sickle and basket of fruit on his head at lower centre. The putti lifts up to reveal the message: 'Yours for ever', which is printed onto a chromolithograph mounted on the embossed paper below. The interior is blank. A faint inscription can be seen on the verso through the inside right-hand page.
