Valentine card
Publisher: Meek, George
White lace-paper of a design incorporating a fruiting bramble, a smaller piece of white coated paper with silver embossed design and oval window mounted onto it with paper springs. The white paper appears to have been cut from another piece in two places along the left edge. The window has a blind of white silk framed with an embossed chromolithographed flower garland and mounted with a scrap of a flower garland with three loops printed with the motto: 'I will / be true / to thee'. Smaller flower scraps are affixed to the silver embossed paper at the four corners. The lace-paper is stamped: 'MEEK' at lower centre (viewed from the verso). The interior is blank.
