Description

A 'raised' valentine comprising a silver lace-paper frame decorated in each corner with copper wire tinsel bows and mounted with paper springs to a second layer of plain white wove paper with shaped edges. A centrepiece mounted on paper springs of an embroidered panel of white silk with a silver lace-paper frame and bunch of forget-me-nots tied with a bow, stitched in green, blue and red thread with the motto: 'TRUE LOVE FADETH NEVER'. The back paper is missing.
