Valentine envelope
Publisher: Unknown
A gilt embossed envelope with four triangular flaps with shaped edges which most likely originally contained a perfumed sachet valentine. The envelope is mounted in the 'open' position, the interior face down on the album leaf with the four flaps unfolded. It is decorated at the centre with a large scrap of flowers (pink roses, lilies, forget-me-nots) with anchor, cross and flaming torch around a central heart containing the motto: 'LOVE'.
