Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
White lace-paper of a design featuring a grapevine with birds and central oval window, mounted onto a slightly larger panel of white silk. The silk at the central window is mounted with a collage of hand-coloured cut-paper white flowers and leaves (Lily of the Valley, Madonna lilies, Stephanotis) with hand-painted stems. The white lace-paper appears to have been cropped along the left edge, presumably relating to the removal of the back paper.
