Valentine card
Publisher: Dobbs, Henry
White lace-paper with central oval panel mounted with a novelty bonnet made of pink cotton wool (probably originally scented) covered in white lace tissue paper with applied bonnet tie of white ribbon. The bonnet is employed as a pictogram within the lithographed message in blue ink around the bonnet at upper and lower centre: 'I hope you'll set / your / [bonnet] / at me dear.'. 'DOBBS, KID[D & CO.]' stamped at lower centre. The front paper is adhered to the back paper.
