Description

Cameo-embossed lace-paper with scenes of puttis with flower garlands at lower centre (part of the garland at the left side is missing) and at upper centre, a scene with Venus taking away Cupid's bow. A pink tissue slip paper is inserted at lower centre and is mounted with a collage of cut-paper and hand-coloured flowers and leaves. A lithographed cut-paper open book is affixed at lower centre with a motto printed in red: 'My love / for thine'. 'KERSHAW & SON' is stamped along the spine at lower left. The front paper is partially adhered to the back paper.
