Description

White wove paper with shaped and scalloped edges tinted purple. A second layer of silvered, embossed lace-paper is mounted onto the wove paper with paper springs and a heart-shaped flower garland scrap is affixed around a central window. Within the central window is a printed letterpress verse on white wove paper contained inside a piece of silver embossed lace-paper which has been cut into a frame: 'CONSTANT / LOVE / Nay, tell me not, my dearest, / that time has dimm'd thine eye ; / Still, still my path thou cheerest, / As, in days that are gone by ...'. The interior is blank.
