Valentine card

A small 48mo-size valentine of gilt lace-paper with a circular window at lower centre containing a hand-coloured lithograph of two blonde-haired putti with flowers, one of them pretending to be Cupid holding a bow and arrow, the quiver on the ground, and preparing to fire the arrow at the other putto. An oval medallion at upper centre contains the motto: 'LOVE / & / TRUTH'. 'MEEK' is stamped alonge the spine at lower left. The front paper is pasted to the back paper.
