Publisher: J.T. Wood & Co
A small valentine of embossed silver lace-paper with a design of ivy leaves and a circular window at lower centre, backed with a panel of white linen. A collage of hand-coloured, embossed flowers and leaves around the circular window and at upper left and right. A gold bordered square of paper bears a hand-written verse: 'One kiss and then / good bye my love / Since thou art anxious / to be free / But nightly shall / I pray above / That every blessing / went on thee.'. 'WOOD' is stamped along the spine at centre left. The front of silver lace-paper is adhered to the back paper.
