Valentine card

White embossed paper of a lace and vine design. A smaller panel of white lace-paper is mounted on paper springs at the centre, although the paper springs are now stuck down. Chromolithographed flower scraps are affixed at centre left and right. A collage of cut-paper green leaves and a chromolithographed flower scrap is affixed at lower centre. A rectangular window at the centre has a pink gauze blind which is mounted with a scrap of white embossed paper with a design of a fountain of water and a shell onto which is positioned a chromolithographed scrap of a putto with a mirror. A scrap of a duck swimming on water with a scroll below is printed with a motto: 'My darling hope'. The front paper is adhered to the back.
