Valentine card

A single sheet of white lace-paper which has been trimmed (unevenly) along the left edge. Two stems of pink roses are stencilled onto the central panel. Three large, hand-coloured, cut-paper lithographs of butterflies are affixed around the roses and a small, lithographed paper scroll is affixed at lower centre. The scroll is printed in gold ink with a verse: 'This fragrant / flower my love / is thine / Accept from thy / Valentine'. A stencilled painting of two stems of pink roses is 'KER[SHAW]' is stamped at lower left (partially obscured by the printed scroll).
