Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
Two miniature valentines mounted onto a slightly larger piece of white card. The valentine on the left is of white lace-paper and has a central window with a stamped message in blue and red ink: 'TO MY / LITTLE FAVORITE'. The valentine on the right is of silver lace-paper and has a central window with a panel of white linen which is mounted with silver paper ornaments of a flaming torch and bow and arrow. A small strip of white paper printed with the motto: 'I / LOVE THEE DEARLY', is affixed below. Inside the valentine of silver lace paper is written in black ink: 'Agnes'. On the verso of the white lace-paper valentine is written in graphite, the initials, 'A.E.P.'. The valentines almost certainly relate to the same recipient or sender.
