Description

Netsuke: katabori: Pumpkin and three egg plants. Wood, carved and partly stained. A grouping of a pumpkin and three egg plants, the latter with stained black detailing. The stalk of the pumpkin forms the himotoshi.

History note: H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
