Description

Netsuke: katabori: Group of five horses. Ivory, carved and polished. Five horses arranged to form a rectangular group, three standing and two reclining, each with inlaid eyes. The legs and tails are entwined creating a latticework effect on the underside. The manes and tails are finely carved. Natural himotoshi are formed by the legs and tails.
