‘Chou Dynasty’ (pattern no. 2207) was the only one of several Susie Cooper Designs in her series ‘inspired by some of the best works of bygone ages’ to be produced by Wedgwood in any quantity. The sophisticated covercoat transfer technique combined with the range of colouring techniques adds a strong sense of texture to the design.
