Pottery: Vauxhall Pottery (Probably)
Buff earthenware, tin-glazed and painted in blue, green, yellow, and red. Circular with a sloping rim, shallow curved sides and flat centre, with a recessed base, There are three peg marks on the back of the rim. The well is decorated with a cockerel, a potted plant beside a basket, and a branching floral spray, enclosed by a narrow blue circle. The rim is decorated with eigth oval panels, each containing a floral spray, reserved in a blue ground.
