Circular with a slightly convex sloping rim, deep curved sides and flat centre. The well is decorated with a bewigged and crowned king's head, flanked by formal floral motifs springing from a garland comprising two striped sausage-shaped motifs separated by three diamond-shaped motifs below the head.
