Knife with steel blade, silver ferrule, and soft-paste porcelain handle, painted underglaze in blue in Berainesque style
Steel blade; silver ferrule; soft-paste porcelain handle painted underglaze in blue, with an iron rod projecting slightly from a central hole at the upper end, surrounded by a silver (?) washer. The handle is of tapering cylindrical form with a rounded upper end. The upper and lower ends of the sides are decorated with berainesque borders, and the upper end with a multi-petalled flower head. The long, narrow blade is slightly curved on the lower edge and comes to a blunt point at the end. blue.
